Welcome to Lariken preschool. Our Pre-school is the dream bedrock for your child or ward. The kids are nurtured and catered for in order to prepare them for nursery and primary school. The pre-school is just a home from home. Lariken pre-school is where your kids are showered with love. Lariken Nursery: this is the schooling section where they are being prepared for the greater challenges in primary school. The nursery section is an environment where working hard is mixed with play. The multimodal and appealing learning environment is an experience you do not want your child or ward to miss.
At Lariken School, we provide activities that aid the development of grass motor skills that should be present at each age and fine motor skills that help in writing and manipulation of small objects. While a part of everyday is devoted to individual development, children also enjoy group activities such as Music and Movement, Morning Circle and Outdoor play. Your preschooler toddlers are filled with energy and curiosity. They are highly active and interested in objects and people. They undergo rapid development in many areas. Preschoolers are eager for attention to help them learn and understand basic things about how the world works.
Our curriculum is designed to support and reinforce your preschooler growing independence.
Our program provides structure and guidance throughout the day through listening to stories, singing songs, playing games and doing art projects that all help to develop Language and Vocabulary skills as well as Movement and Sensory skills. Your preschoolers will enjoy group times with class mates, during which the teacher may read a story or teach a song that reinforces a theme related topic. Your toddlers will explore the materials and activities set up in the classroom and participate in different projects. With our individualized teaching program, we will allow your child to learn and progress at his own pace.
Our Primary School has classes from Reception Year to Year Six. The school offers an integrated specially designed curriculum following the National Curriculum of England with Nigerian Curriculum and parts of the American Curriculum.
